Ave’ was on hand at the Doe Fund’s Sweet: NY charity event! The event featured delicious dishes from local NY eateries such as Tao, Godiva, Hot Mint Mamas, Jazz Brownies, Pescatore, and Baked by Melissa all there to help raise money for the local charity. Ave’ was happy to auction off a few swimsuits in support of a good cause!

We shot the 2012 collection over the weekend on the beaches of Montauk, a surfer’s paradise on the tip of Long Island, NY. Although we had to battle it out with the morning rain, it turned out to be an amazing day. We discovered some secluded rocky beaches, perfect for our shoot. Our models, Erin and Vianna, managed to get a few minor cuts and bruises, but they were such troopers. All in a day’s work!

This past month’s April/May issue of FOAM magazine is ropin’ it in with style. They chose Ave’s signature Rio Rope bikini for their ‘cord award’. The west coast mag features this season’s Rio in white. We love the way white looks on sun kissed skin! We hope this memorial day brings us some rays!
